“How we spend our days, is of course, how we spend our lives”

So often after a coaching session or some time of introspection, we set out our intentions to improve our lives.

What happens between the thinking and the doing?

Life gets busy, our thoughts turn to other matters and we forget to take the small actions that would lead us to the better versions of ourselves that we have designed.

Mindfulness Monitor is a way in which we are able to gently turn our minds back to the goals and intentions, the small steps that will lead us to build new habits.

Mindfulness is not about punishing ourselves to do tasks or monitoring our goals, its just about bringing to mind what we need to think about to ensure that we spend our days in the manner in which we want to spend our lives – and step by step, day by day, to create the new ways of being that we have decided upon!


INSTRUCTIONS

Once you have spent time with your coach or have decided upon the intentions that you want to implement to build the new you, prioritise them down to 6 of the most important things that you might want to do every day …

You will find lists of possible intentions as an example that you can choose from, or alternatively, you are able to customize and fill in your own.

Then set up a reminder - these reminders will pop up on your phone a few times a day (you decide how many times and when)

Then simply click on the tick when you do the required task for the day and see what happens when you manage a day when you meet all your intentions!!

There are no rules or comparisons, no history or stats in the mindfulness monitor – the intention is to raise your awareness and celebrate with you if you achieve your intentions in a day…then to reset so that you start with a clean slate again tomorrow. No punishments or measurements, just awareness and celebration.

There is also a space for you to put the a most important message that you need to tell yourself everyday (eg a form of affirmation) and a weekly vision in which you specify what would make it an excellent week for you.
